The Picnic I Never Had
When we hit the 3rd lockdown, some of my plans vanished with the early morning fog. I had plenty of exciting plans, one of them was to have a picnic with one of my friends that I haven’t seen in a long time. I realized I never had a nice picnic, so she suggested to host one. Feeling sad that my dream picnic had been cancelled, I thought I might showcase what I visualized in my head by playing around with fake food I made from clay. To show that all this was an unfulfilled dream, I used a lens filter. The pictures aim to bring everyone together, because in trying to dodge the pandemic by protecting ourselves and the people we love, we had to cancel some of our most-anticipated gatherings. ◆
