PSA (ft. Furqan Mohammed): Freedom Is a Constant Struggle by Angela Davis
The day Sumou was born on the internet, we knew that we had to make sure of one thing: to offer a space that amplifies marginalized voices. With what’s been currently happening, we have been, for weeks, planning on providing something educational for our audience, so that they would be able to listen, learn, and grow. That being said, we have decided to create a book club podcast, featuring different Black women in each episode—all of them tackling topics of racial issues and injustice. That way, we will all be able to listen and learn. We hope that this will contribute to building a more tolerant and respectful community, and Sumou will always be a place that offers safety to its audience.
